After a long wait, the much-anticipated teaser of Megastar Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon’s upcoming film Bazooka has just dropped! The makers of the thriller took to their social media handles to share the teaser. Sharing the new glimpse, they wrote, “The game has been announced, and The King is set to begin the hunt... Get immersed in the world of #Bazooka. Watch the teaser here.”
Directed by debutant director Deeno Dennis, who is also the son of legendary writer Kaloor Dennis, the film is touted to be Malayalam cinema’s first game thriller. From slick action sequences to cyberpunk background score, Bazooka, starring Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon, is the one you must watch out for.
Bazooka Teaser
The much-anticipated teaser begins with a fight, where a man is beaten up by two unknown people as Gautham Vasudev Menon’s character, Benjamin Joshua, watches. A man on a call with Benjamin warns him not to pick up unnecessary problems and asks why there is noise at his place. Benjamin lies, saying that he’s watching a second show at a theatre. It turns out that he and his fellow assistants are cops who are tackling a gang that even the shadow gang has never been able to trace. The teaser then showcases a shot of a man playing a game on his console, with a voice-over stating that it’s a game between good and evil. The stylish teaser then cuts to introduce Mammootty’s character, as he too ‘gets ready for the game.’ The teaser ends with a swaggering dialogue by Mammootty, who says, ‘There isn’t a role he hasn’t taken up.’
The badass and slick teaser cut looks impressive and has definitely piqued our interest in the thrill ride. Will this Malayalam debut of GVM, starring alongside Mammootty, be an ultimate game changer? We will get to see that very soon!

Bazooka cast
While Mammootty plays yet another stylish and mysterious role, GVM is set to play the role of Benjamin Joshua, the antagonist of the film. Bazooka boasts an ensemble cast, including Mammootty, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Sharaf U Dheen, and Divya Pillai. The film’s intriguing premise, coupled with this talented lineup of actors, has already sparked immense interest among cine-goers.
On the technical front, Bazooka’s cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi, with editing by Nishadh Yusuf, who is known for his work in Thallumaala. The music is by Rorschach composer Midhun Mukundan, and the action choreography is handled by Stunt Silva.
The makers are yet to reveal the release date for the film.
