All you need to know about Bagheera
Directed by Dr Suri and written by KGF-fame acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel, this Kannada film stars Sriimurali and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. Bagheera follows the life of a man who goes masked to fight against injustice. Bankrolled by Hombale Films, the film also features Prakash Raj, Rangayana Raghu, Achyut Kumar, and Garuda Ram in key roles.
Upon its release, the film received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences and critics alike, but went on to mint only Rs 35 crore at the box office against a budget of Rs 40 crore. The film failed to make the expected mark due to a stiff clash with the Tamil blockbuster Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan. Despite this, the film now holds the position of the highest-grossing Kannada film of 2024.
Now, with its OTT release, the movie is expected to reach a wider audience as it will be available for streaming on the OTT platform in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The Hindi and Tulu versions of the film are expected to be released soon.
