Arjun Ashokan appears in the titular role of Anand Sreebala in this mystery thriller film. The mysterious death of a law student prompts him to go down a dark path, seeking to find the truth. As he strives hard to unravel the mystery, he cannot help but face his own past demons.

Vishnu Vinay made his directorial debut with this film, which is based on real-life incidents in Kochi. The film also features Sangita Madhavan Nair in a key role. Sangita is most known to Malayalis as Shyamala, the titular character from Sreenivasan’s Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala.

Others part of the Anand Sreebala cast are Aparna Das, Saiju Kurup, Siddique, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese.

Arjun Ashokan’s latest film to hit the silver screen was Ennu Swantham Punyalan, which released in theatres on January 10, 2025. Apart from Arjun Ashokan, the film also features Balu Varghese, and Anaswara Rajan also in lead roles. The film also a young priest played by Balu Varghese as his life turns chaotic after a young woman seeks his help. Even when he is struggling to find a solution, a thief turns up at his residence.

Anpodu Kanmani and Bromance are among his upcoming films. He is also part of Sumathi Valavu, the first look of which was released last week.
