Sai Pallavi portrays Mukund's wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese, in the film, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
Amaran trailer
The inspirational trailer begins with an old clip of Major Mukund with his daughter, singing the famous Tamil patriotic song Acham Illai Acham Illai by Tamil poet Bharathiyar. The trailer then transitions to Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund, recreating the same moment as the trailer delves deeper into the life led by Mukund before his demise. It captures beautiful moments of his love story with his Malayali wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese, the opposition from his parents regarding his decision to join the military, and his brave battles against terrorists. The trailer encapsulates the 'immortal' story of Major Mukund Varadarajan with perfection. The final line, where his daughter says, "Appa promised to come for my birthday, will he come?" is enough to indicate that the film will certainly be a tough watch for the faint-hearted.
