Ajith's 'Thunivu' gets 7 new character posters ahead of today's trailer launch

Ajith 's Thunivu is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, the heist thriller directed by H. Vinoth focuses on a group of bank robbers and their leader played by Ajith.

The makers of the movie have revealed a set of seven new character posters and a little bit of info about them. They feature Manju Warrier as Kanmani, Samuthirakani as Dayalan, Ajay as Ramachandran, GM Sundar as Muthazhagan, Veera as Radha, John Kokken as Krish, Bhagavathi Perumal as Rajesh, and Prem Kumar as Prem.

While Ajith did get a new character poster his name and what character he will be playing in Thunivu remain a mystery.

Fans will be able to find out more when the trailer is released online today at 7. Thunive will be Ajith's third collaboration with director H.Vinoth after 2019s Nerkonda Paarvai and 2022s Valimai.

While we do not have too many details about the plot of Thunivu, we do know that it is a heist movie and focuses on a team of professional mercenaries who are targetting banks across Tamil Nadu.

Thunivu marks the first on-screen pairing of Ajith and National award-winning Malayalam actress Manju Warrier, this will be her second Tamil movie after 2019s Asuran in which she co-starred with Dhanush.

The movie boasts an impressive supporting cast that includes John Kokken, Samuthirakani, Mamathi Chari, Veera, Prem Kumar, Mahanadi Shankar, and Nayana Sa.

Veteran Nirav Shah is handling the cinematography with Vijay Velukutty in charge of the editing, The movie is produced by Boney Kapoor.

In a recent interview, the stunt director for the movie Supreme Sundar revealed that Thunivu will have a 32-second one-shot 360-degree stunt done by Ajith.

He went on to say that Ajith was very enthusiastic about doing the sequence and that it took them 13 takes to get it right.

The movie will be clashing at the Tamil box office with Thalapthy Vijay's Varisu .

Thunivu will hit the big screen on January 12th, 2023.
