Sara Ali Khan’s biographical period drama Ae Watan Mere Watan has finally gotten a release date. The movie is based on the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta. It has been produced by Karan Johar and directed by Kannan Iyer.
The movie will be released on the OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. In the latest video, the release date has been revealed to be March 21, 2024. The video has Sara as Usha Mehta in a white ensemble, braided hairdo with a bindi sporting a pensive expression on her face. She can be seen greeting her listeners from what she calls ‘Desh Ka Radio.’ She says that all the Indians have to gear up for the last fight of India’s Independence against British rule. Her parting words on the radio are, “Yeh Hain Desh Ka Radio, 42.34 meters Par. Hindustan Pe Kahin Se, Kahin Pe Hindustan.” Take a look at the same.
