Karan Johar calls himself 'immensely fortunate'

A while ago, the ace filmmaker Karan Johar penned a heartfelt note on Instagram. He recalled fond memories from the sets of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham by dropping pictures of the star cast. He even thanked the audience in his long note for keeping the film alive in its 'truest sense'. 

He wrote, "23 years!!! Phew...truly one of those pinch me moments - right now & even back then...being on set with these legends!! It was my second film as a director and I think I was immensely fortunate that this magnanimous cast and the entire crew put in so much faith in me to deliver khushi & gham in abundance! The biggest shout out goes to the audience...the fans...our family - who continue to watch our film and recite every dialogue, dance on every song and keep this film alive in its truest sense...THANK YOU! 23 years of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham." The pictures feature SRK, Kajol, Bebo, Hrithik, Big B, and Jaya Ji's stills from the film. Soon after he shared the special post, nostalgic fans were seen dropping comments on it. One fan wrote, "Petition to re-release K3G." Another fan commented, "Aise movie banaya karo." Another comment read, "@karanjohar make them come back with you again please #wewantsrkajolback @iamsrk @kajol." Others were also seen dropping red heart emojis. Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Malhotra also reacted to his post by dropping red heart emojis. 

Meanwhile, Karan recently returned to director's chair with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra in lead roles.
