Updated : May 15, 2022 01:05 PM ISTZayed Khan bagged his second project Main Hoon Na with Shah Rukh Khan when he went to meet Farah Khan to talk about a song in his debut film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne.
Actor Zayed Khan has been away from the silver screen since the last few years but in his 15 year long Bollywood career he has given the audiences many performances to remember. One of the most popular of them all was definitely Main Hoon Na, in which the actor played the role of Lakshman Prasad Sharma aka Lucky. Also starring Shah Rukh Khan , Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao and Suniel Shetty , the film not only proved to be a success for the star cast but also for choreographer Farah Khan , who made her directorial debut with it.
Well, in a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Zayed revealed that he had tried to get in contact with Farah for a song in his debut film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne. Little did he know that she was planning her directorial debut at that point. She invited him to her office and said that she was considering him for Main Hoon Na. The actor remembered, “And in walks Shah Rukh Khan, a very lovely gentleman. He sits me down and says ‘How are you Zayed? We are looking for a second lead in the film. And Farah said you might be good potential. But bhai ek baat bata, tujhe acting aati hai na?’”
Zayed admitted that he was a little disturbed by the question, but did not say what he actually wanted to. He revealed, “In my head, I wanted to say that I am born in a family of actors. So, naturally, acting is in my blood. But of course, I said, ‘Come on man, I am born to act’ and all of that. Now, rest is history.” Well, we wonder how SRK would have reacted if Zayed actually said what was in his mind back then.
Currently Zayed is busy gearing up for his comeback film. He announced the project without unveiling the title but revealed the acronym-- TFTNW. We can’t wait to find out more about it!
