While the nation is rooting for team India at the ongoing World Cup Final match Ranbir Kapoor’s mother and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor missed her late husband Ranbir Kapoor. The actress took to Instagram handle and shared screenshot of her enjoying the match and remembering her husband.
Sharing the picture, Neetu wrote, “Watching todays match with Rishi Ji would have been so electrifying !!! Miss him (heart emoji)." For the unversed, Rishi succumbed to cancer on April 30, 2020 at the age of 67.Earlier, Neetu posted a heartfelt video on his 71st birth anniversary, that comprised the late veteran actor's best works. The video contained glimpses from Bobby, Chandni, Sagar, Karz, and others. "In remembrance (sic),” she captioned the video.Even Alia Bhatt, Riddhima Kapoor and others also extended heartwarming wishes for the late actor.

Meanwhile, workwise, Neetu made her debut movie with Besharam in 2013. She took a sabbatical from acting after delivering powerful performances in the two-decade of career in film industry. She recently resumed work with Raj Mehta’s family comedy-drama film Jugjugg Jeeyo in 2022. The film starred Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
