The news about Alia being included in the Blockout 2024 List comes days after she walked the glamorous Met Gala red carpet in a custom-made Sabyasachi saree. She attended the Gucci Cruise Show 2025 in London on May 13.

The actress has been accused of not drawing attention to the ongoing Israel-Gaza crisis. Sharing a post about Alia being on the list on Instagram, the caption read, “Silence is complicity. I have donation and petition links in my bio! We do not need them. They need us. Do not tag them or @ them in the comments. This will just further boost their engagements. Simply unfollow and block. What is the Blockout 2024 List?

Blockout 2024 is a social media movement started on TikTok where netizens call out notable celebrities who haven’t spoken about the Israel-Gaza issue and the ongoing war. The movement aims to raise awareness among celebrities so that they can use their reach to speak about the injustices in Gaza.
