Neeraj Chopra has made India proud once again after winning a silver medal at the Paris Olympics. The entire nation is celebrating his victory, including celebrities who have been posting congratulatory messages for his second consecutive Olympic win on social media.

Celebs react to Neeraj Chopra’s win

Actress Lara Bhupathi took to social media to share pictures of herself with her daughter, Saira, who watched the javelin throw finals live at the Paris Olympics.

The first picture features Lara and Saira wearing Indian jerseys, while the second post is a video of Neeraj entering the arena. The third picture is of Neeraj holding the Indian flag.

Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of Neeraj lifting the Indian flag. Along with the picture, Vicky wrote, “Season best performance. You always make us proud brother!!”

Former Olympic star Abhinav Bindra also took to social media and dedicated a post to Neeraj’s victory. Sharing a picture of Neeraj with his team, Abhinav wrote that Neeraj has inspired every Indian to dream big.

In his caption, Abinav also congratulated javelin throw gold medallist Arshad Nadeem, who broke the Olympic record this year. He wrote, “Congratulations to Arshad Nadeem on his historic gold and breaking the Olympic record!”

Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal in the Paris Olympics javelin throw event on August 8. Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal. He broke the Olympic record with his 92.97 metre throw.
