Lola VFX, one of the leading special effects studios in Los Angeles, is handling the VFX work for "The Greatest Of All Time." The studio is a pioneer in de-ageing effects, used in movies like "The Irishman" and several Marvel superhero films. Lola VFX is also contributing to director Shankar's much-anticipated movie "Indian 2," where the studio was tasked with de-aging Kamal Haasan's appearance.
It won't be an exaggeration to say that "The Greatest Of All Time" is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2024. The film marks Venkat's first collaboration with Vijay, creating significant excitement among the superstar's fans.
Earlier, there was speculation that "The Greatest Of All Time" was a remake of the Hollywood movie "Gemini Man," starring Will Smith in a double role. The first-look posters revealing Vijay's dual avatar added credence to these speculations.
However, Venkat Prabhu dismissed the rumours, claiming that "The Greatest Of All Time" is not a remake but his original work. The film is due in cinemas on September 5.
