Varun Dhawan blessed with a baby girl! Father David Dhawan confirms

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan who was recently spotted outside a hospital in Mumbai, giving rise to speculations about the delivery of his first child has welcomed a baby girl. Varun’s father, director David Dhawan confirmed the news by telling paparazzi that the family has welcomed a baby girl. Varun and Natasha, who tied the knot in 2021, announced they are expecting their first child together earlier this year.

Varun Dhawan welcomed a baby girl

In a video shared by paparazzi on Instagram, Varun’s father, director David Dhawan was spotted coming outside of the hospital, revealing that the family has welcomed a baby girl.

In February this year, Varun announced that he is expecting his first child with his wife Natasha Dalal through an Instagram post. Sharing a picture with Natasha, he wrote, "We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love. #myfamilymystrength.” The black and white picture shows Varun kissing Natasha’s baby bump.

Reacting to the post, filmmaker Karan Johar, and actors Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor congratulated the couple.

Varun and Natasha are childhood sweethearts who tied the knot in 2021 in a low-key wedding in Alibaug. Speaking about his wedding, Varun told HT City, "That's the kind of person I am, as far as my personal life is concerned. I'd rather keep it low-key, and also because Natasha isn't from this film line anyway. The full show-sha is too much, and this wasn't the time for that.”

Speaking about their love story, Natasha had told Hello! India before their wedding, “Varun and I were in school together. We stayed friends until we were in our mid-20s and then, I remember, we started dating just before I moved away. It was around then that, I think, we realised we were more than just good friends.”

On the work front, Varun will be seen in Atlee’s next project, Baby John and Citadel Honey Bunny, alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Natasha is a fashion designer and has her own label.
