The last couple of months have seen many of the Bollywood films being re-released. This has definitely opened a window of opportunity to all those how have not seen the films when they were released. One of the films which are being given a re-release happens to be the Sohum Shah starrer Tumbbad.
Today, Sohum Shah took to social media and posted the super-gripping trailer of the film. He captioned the same as, ‘Sacchai, acchai, burai aur lalach, har yug mein inhi ki kahaniyan dohrayee jaati hain, aisi hi ek kahani dohrane ka samay phir aa gaya hai… #Tumbbad Re-release Trailer Out Now! Experience Tumbbad in cinemas again on 13th September, 2024!’.
In no time of Sohum Shah posting the gripping trailer, there were many fans and followers who took to the comments section and showed their happiness to after having got a chance to see the film again. One user wrote, ‘Glad to have experienced this masterpiece in theatre!!!! one of the best cinematic experience of 2018. In 2018I was in the theater on the first day with my brothers. We are real movie lovers, and we know which movies we should watch’. ‘
There was another who wrote, ‘I have Watched it thrice in theater when it first realised... This is the best time when everyone should and must watch this film at any cost. In the times of OTT, a film like this is a must watch as this was the film which really had set the standards of filmmaking high. Had the film been relaesed in the recent times, it would have surely overtaken the box office collections set by the Shrdaddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2’.
As for the film Tumbbad, the film stars Sohum Shah, Dhundiraj Prabhakar Jogalekar, Harsh, Jyoti Malshe, Rudra Soni and Madhav Hari Joshi in prominent roles. While the film has been directed by Rahi Anil Barve, it has produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L. Rai, Anand Gandhi, Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah.
The film will be re-released on 13th September, 2024.
