‘Time to enroll for the privileged Karan Johar Internship’: Netizens react as Malaika Arora’s son Arhaan turns 20

Besides being a fitness enthusiast and fashion icon, Malaika Arora is a doting mother to her son Arhaan Khan . As Arhaan turned 20 today i.e November 9, the actress dropped a bunch of throwback pictures and penned an adorable message for him to mark his special day. While her fans showered birthday wishes to her son, trolls couldn’t help but left harsh comments on her post.

Calling her son Mama’s boy, Malaika wrote, “My baby boy is a grown-up man today… but will always be my baby happy birthday my arhaan#20yrsold #mamasboy.”She shared a couple of pictures from his childhood and some from the recent past. In one of the pictures, Malaika is taking a selfie with her dog and Arhaan. The other picture has Arhaan with his maternal aunt Amrita Arora lying on the couch. Actresses Bipasha Basu and Aditi Govartikar dropped red heart emojis on the post. Take a look:

As soon as Malaika’s post surfaced, netizens flocked to the comment section to share their reactions. While one of the users wrote, “Kya baat hai madam aapka ladka 20 saal ka hai or log malaika mam malaika maam chilltae hai”(It is strange that you have 20-year-old son and still paparazzi addresses you ‘ma’am’). Another user commented, “Mujhe ek baat samaj nhi arahi arhaan arbaz Khan ke sath rehta hai Malika mam ke saath rehta ya hostel me rehta bata jalde.”(It is confusing whether Arhaan stays with his father Arbaaz or mother Malaika or stays alone in hostel).

One of them also poked a nepotistic joke referring to filmmaker Karan Johar. “Time to enrol for the privileged "Karan Johar Internship," a troll added. For those unaware, Karan's name often pops up whenever a star kid needs to launched in the film industry after the filmmaker has launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Ananya Panday. He is soon going to launch Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of Sanjay Kapoor, in upcoming film, Bedhadak. 

Meanwhile, Arhaan is the son of Malaika with her ex-husband Arbaaz, with whom she tied the knot in 1998. After almost 19 years of marriage, the couple separated and filed for divorce. Currently, the actress is dating Boney Kapoor’s son and actor Arjun Kapoor .
