Tiger Shroff's Rambo stalled, fate hangs on Bade Miyan Chote Miyan's performance

Tiger Shroff's movie, Rambo, has been a recurring topic of discussion over the past few years. Despite numerous reports indicating that production is set to commence soon, there has been no concrete update from Siddharth Anand's team. Additionally, recent news reports suggested that filming was about to begin, but it appears that this plan has been postponed. Siddharth Anand will co-produce the film in partnership with Jio Studios.

Budget Reevaluation for Rambo

Reports suggest that before commencing the production of the Rs 150 crore-budgeted film, Jio Studios is reportedly awaiting the release of Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. Following this, they intended to proceed with Rambo. However, it now appears that the budget allocation for Rambo will be reassessed based on the performance of Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan. 

The tentative start date for the Tiger Shroff starrer is rumored to be July 2024. Allegedly, the box office performance of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will play a crucial role in determining the fate of Rambo.

Jio Studios' Strategic Pause

According to Bollywood Hungama's sources, “Rohit Dhawan and Siddharth Anand were looking to take Rambo on floors from April 2024, however, the same has been delayed due to budget issues. While the film budget is around Rs. 150 crores, the studio partner, Jio Studios, has conveyed their decision to await the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, before proceeding with Rambo. 

BMCM is an important film for everyone and it will decide the future course of action for the stakeholders. At the moment, the future of Rambo depends on BMCM. The earliest it can begin now is July 2024.”
