The Ambani wedding has been making headlines ever since they hosted the star-studded sangeet ceremony at NMACC, Mumbai. Apart from the celebrity dance performances, the outfits worn by the Ambani family have also grabbed people’s attention. Now, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has something special to say after Shloka Ambani revived Manish Malhotra’s iconic Bole Chudiyan outfit for the sangeet ceremony.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena shared a picture of Shloka wearing a version of Manish Malhotra’s Bole Chudiyan outfit on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “Bole Chudiyan. @shloka11 you look gorgeous.”
Fashion consultant and Shloka’s younger sister Diya Mehta Jatia took to Instagram and shared pictures of Shloka from the sangeet ceremony. In the pictures, Shloka is wearing an attire inspired by Manish Malhotra’s Bole Chudiyan outfit. The outfit retains the same ombre effect and hues, except that the palazzo pants have been replaced with a skirt and the blouse has been replaced by a one shoulder, backless blouse.
She captioned the post, “looking PHAT! While conceptualising the sangeet look we wanted to go for something fun, elegant and “iconic”. After multiple rounds of discussions, we thought of dipping into the archives and recreated the OG @manishmalhotra05 ‘bole chudiyan’ look. It was an absolute blast!!!”
Shloka completed her outfit with a statement diamond necklace, matching earrings and multiple bangles. The outfit features intricate floral embroidery and transparent tassels hanging from the blouse.

For the unversed, Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a similar look for her song Bole Chudiyan in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The Manish Malhotra-designed outfit includes a blush pink blouse, styled with flared palazzo pants and a matching dupatta. The outfit remains one of the most iconic looks from Indian cinema.
Shloka Ambani is the sister-in-law of soon-to-be groom Anant Ambani who is set to marry Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Jio World Convention Centre. The Ambani family kickstarted the wedding festivities with a sangeet ceremony where Shloka recreated this iconic outfit.
