Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in the new web series, The Royals. The makers of the upcoming web series have released the teaser, revealing the star cast while sharing some BTS moments of all the fun that is going to unfold in front of your screens.

Taking to Instagram, the makers of The Royals shared the series teaser on the official social media page of Netflix India. The trailer begins with BTS moments showcasing the intricacies of Ishaan’s attire in the series, Bhumi’s retro-inspired outfit and the grandeur of Jaipur, the place where the series has been shot.
The makers captioned the post, “A royal feast for your eyes. Announcing #TheRoyals, coming soon, only on Netflix.”
The Royals cast and crew
The star cast includes Bhumi Pednekar, Ishaan Khatter, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Udit Arora, Chunky Panday, Lisa Mishra, Milind Soman, Sumukhi Suresh, Dino Morea and Luke Kenny. The series is set to be the modern take on royal romance, centering around the characters of Bhumi and Ishaan. The Royals is written by Neha Veena Sharma and is directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana. The series is produced by Pritish Nandy and created by Rangita and Ishita Pritish Nandy.
The release date of the series is yet to be announced. The official summary of The Royals says, "When an entitled Prince Charming meets a startup whiz, it's inevitable that they will bump heads! Will their ambitions collide, two worlds clash, or even spark a surprising romance? From palace gates to boardroom debates, The Royals marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Pritish Nandy Communications."
Bhumi and Ishaan’s films
Bhumi was last seen in a thriller drama film titled Bhakshak, directed by Pulkit where the actress played the role of an investigative journalist. Ishaan, on the other hand, last appeared in a war drama film titled Pippa. Directed by Raja Krishan Menon, the film also starred Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli.
