"Mind-boggling effort and a new narrative pattern make #PEPE interesting. Every actor has delivered their best, and @vinayrajkumar looks macho on screen and has molded himself extremely well to suit the character. Best wishes, champ. @KaajalKunder shines through and has done good justice to her character. Amazing music & editing add value to the overall experience. @shreelesh_nair is bold in his approach. Loved his framing and the way of conceiving a situation or a scene. My best wishes to the entire team and @nanusriram. May #PEPE bring you all the success you have worked for," reviewed Sudeep.

It’s noteworthy that Sudeep became a fan of Pepe soon after watching its trailer. He participated in the movie's pre-release event and expressed his confidence in the film’s potential to resonate with a wider audience. He claimed that with Pepe, "Vinay Rajkumar became a man from a boy," suggesting a mature performance from the young actor.
Pepe is set against the backdrop of rural Karnataka, seemingly telling an intense story about violence, love, and redemption. The movie is written and directed by Shreelesh S Nair, who appears to have brought the sobering cinematic sensibilities of Malayalam cinema to his latest Kannada venture.
Pepe also stars Mayur Patel, Naveen D Padil, Yash Shetty, Kaajal Kunder, Medini Kelamane, Raviprasad Mandya, Kitty Sridhar, and Shashidhar Bhat, among others.
