Stree 2 box office collection day 11: Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy mints Rs 386 crore in India

The one word that really describes the speed and the momentum of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy Stree 2 is just ‘unstoppable’. The rate at which the film has been setting the box office on fire, it seems that entering the Rs. 500 crore club will just be nothing less than a cakewalk. Considering the fact that there are no major releases in the coming days, the Rs. 500 crore club seems absolutely achievable in a few days from now.

As per the latest update on the film, it is still going strong even on its eleventh day. With each passing day, the Amar Kaushik directed horror-comedy film only sees a spike in its box office collections. As per the most reliable industry tracker Sacnilk, it has been said that the film has now managed to rake it a whopping Rs. 386.15 crore net in India itself.

For all those who are yet to witness the visually stunning and power packed Stree 2, let us tell you that the film is about a village named Chanderi, in which an unnatural ‘headless human force’ named Sarkata takes away all the young ladies from there, for reasons best known to him. The film is about how Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor join hands to combat the evil Sarkata and rescue all the young ladies who had been kept captive under him.

Besides Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film also stars the veteran Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and others. While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.

Besides the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, the other two films which were released along with it (John Abraham, Sharvari starrer Vedaa and the Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor starrer Khel Khel Mein) re seemingly struggling at the box office.
