Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to his social media handle to slam rumors of him wanting The Kerala Story to be banned. He also made it very clear that he is against movies being banned. The film stars Adah Sharma in the lead role and revolves around young women from Kerala being recruited into terrorism.
Talking about the same, Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to his Twitter handle and stated, “Please stop spreading false news just to get some views and hits, it’s called cheap TRP - I never said and I would never want any film to be banned ever. Reportedly, the rumors of the Gangs Of Wasseypur actor being against the film started doing the rounds after one of his latest interviews in a publication. Nawazuddin Siddiqui had said that a film should not hurt sentiments or disrupt the harmony of society with its content. Ever since then, speculations might have spread that Nawazuddin wants The Kerala Story to be banned.
