Matrix
The new BTS photo revealed the entire cast of the upcoming Disney+ series and it offers a pleasant surprise that The Matrix star Carrie Anne Moss is a part of the series.
Joining her the rest of the cast includes Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Charlie Barnett, and Dean-Charles Chapman.
The official synopsis of the show reads "a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated."
According to rumors the show will focus on a Dark Side disciple as she trains to be a Sith apprentice, this contradicts the synopsis and could be a misdirect or the dark side disciple could be a former Jedi apprentice.
The series will be set before the events of A Phantom Menace, so we could get a cameo from Darth Maul and even Palpatine.
Creator of The Russian Doll series, Leslye Headland will be in charge of the series with Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef as producers.
Headland will also be directing the pilot episode which is currently being filmed in the UK.
