Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is the poster boy for pan-Indian movies, and he has been generous in showing solidarity with ambitious cinematic ventures across languages. At the pre-release event of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Rajamouli extended his support to the Allu Arjun-starrer, remarking that this movie needs no extra push from anyone.
“Usually, when we attend film events, we say things hoping to help that movie in some way. But here, I honestly don’t know what to say,” Rajamouli admitted.

He recalled a conversation with Allu Arjun during the release of Pushpa: The Rise. “I told Bunny not to ignore North India and to promote it well there. But now, ahead of the release of Pushpa 2, I want to tell him that this movie doesn’t need any promotion,” he said.
Rajamouli expressed his belief that Pushpa 2 has already captured the imagination of audiences worldwide. “Entire India and Indians around the world seem to have already bought their tickets for this movie,” he added.
The filmmaker also praised Allu Arjun’s performance, singling out his introduction scene in Pushpa 2. “Don’t worry, Sukumar. I won’t reveal what happens in that scene. I’ll just tell them how fantastic it is. Bunny has delivered an outstanding performance. Watching that scene made me realize how incredible the entire movie would be,” Rajamouli remarked.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is the much-anticipated sequel written and directed by Sukumar. The film, which has been in production for three years, is set for a massive worldwide release on December 5. Reports suggest that the filmmakers are planning paid premieres across the country on the eve of December 4, heightening the excitement.
In addition to Allu Arjun, the movie features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.
