Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were planning to purchase a lavish home together before separation? Here's what we know

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s ongoing divorce proceeding has come as a rude shock to their fans as well as the industry. Even murkier were the events succeeding it which involved Sophie’s lawsuit against her estranged husband. Now, the latest development suggests that the couple were planning to purchase a lavish home in England.

Joe Jonas wrote a letter to the homeowner in Oxford

Talking about the same, according to a news report on Page Six, the court documents filed by Sophie Turner state that Joe Jonas had discussed with her father about a plus £7.5 property in England. The ‘Sucker For You’ singer had written a letter to the homeowner in Wallingford, Oxford with the intention of buying the house. The contents of Joe’s letter were, “When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house. While many of the houses we viewed met this criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning [redacted], we experienced a sense of magic unlike anything we had felt before.”

Joe Jonas had been dreaming of a life in England

The singer was especially smitten by the beautiful garden that the house possessed and imagined it to be a perfect play area for his daughters. Joe Jonas had further written, “My father-in-law is an incredibly keen gardener, and he was suitably impressed by your vegetable garden too, a very important sign off. I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat.”

Apart from that, Joe Jonas also had his eye on one of the spacious rooms in the house which he wanted to be made into a studio. Joe and Sophie Turner had managed to convince the homeowner to sell the property to them and had even paid an advance amount. But alas, seems like their dream could not come to fruition.
