Back in July 2018, actress Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. She flew to New York for treatment and returned home later that year. It was an incredibly tough time for her as well as her filmmaker husband Goldie Behl and their son Ranveer. But even during her battle with cancer, she made sure to inspire millions of fans with her journey. When she came out as a survivor, it was not a win just for her and her family, but also for all her fans. Well, the beauty is now ready to return to work as a judge on DID Li'l Masters season 5.
In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Sonali opened up about how her husband reacted to her decision of going back to work. She shared, “He has been asking me to do this much earlier. He is like, ‘you are fine, your brain is so sharp, just get back’. He has been telling me, ‘you should get back to work’ because knowing me he said, ‘at that point in time, so many years back in the 90s, you used to work the way they work today. So you would really enjoy the process of working in today’s day and age’. So yes, he has been telling me to come back and work for the longest time now.”
