Singham Again box office collection day 5: Ajay Devgn-starrer film earns only Rs 13.5 crore, but still ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

It seems that Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again is not faring well at the box office. After a blockbuster opening with Rs 43 crore collected at the box office on day 1, the Ajay Devgn-starrer film only earned Rs 13.5 crore and was engaged in a neck-and-neck contest with Kartik Aaryan-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on day five of its release. The overall Hindi occupancy rate of the film has also dipped to 26.79%.

According to a report by Sacnilk.com, Singham Again earned Rs 13.5 crore on day five of its release (November 5) and marked an overall occupancy rate of 26.79%.

With a total domestic box office collection of Rs 153.25 crore, the film is ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has earned a total of Rs 137 crore in the first five days of its release.

Singham Again minted Rs 43 crore on its opening day, and earned Rs 42.5 crore and Rs 35.75 crore on day two and three of its release day, respectively. After crossing the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office, the film saw a dip in occupancy rates and box office. While Singham Again only collected Rs 18 crore on day four of its release, the collection decreased to Rs 13.5 crore on day five.

The morning shows of Singham Again marked an occupancy of 13.52% while it increased to 28.87% and 38.49% for evening and night shows respectively. The highest occupancy was marked in Ahmedabad, followed by Surat, Mumbai and Jaipur.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. Singham Again has earned mixed reviews from audiences and critics on social media.

The film, with an ensemble cast, clashed with Kartik Aaryan starrer horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Singham Again is the third part in the Singham franchise and the fifth part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.
