Sikandar: Kajal Aggarwal has joined the Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer? Here’s what we know

Ever since the time the silkman Khan starrer Sikandar was announced, it has only upped the expectations and the anticipations from the cinegoers alike. As if the towering presence of superstar Salman Khan was just not enough, the film’s makers added yet another star attraction (read ‘superstar attraction’) in the form of the svelte Rashmika Mandanna.

It now seems that the film is only getting bigger and bigger. Besides Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the film’s makers have now signed the stunning Kajal Aggarwal for an all-important role in the film, as per a source-based news report in Filmfare. Even though Kajal’s role in the film has not yet been revealed, it is anticipated that she will surely be having an extremely strong role. As per a source close to the film’s unit, it's being said that, Kajal is touted to be the turning point of the film and will be acting as a catalyst, who will be an important angle to the film’s narrative!

While the presence (read ‘addition’) of Kajal Aggarwal has yet to be officially announced, the ones who are officially confirmed in the film include the Baahubali star Sathyaraj (who was also seen as Deepika Padukone’s father in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chennai Express). Besides him, the film will also see the presence of Pratik Patil Babbar, who will be playing the role of one of the villains in the film.

Looking back, Salman Khan had shared the news on social media about him leading the film. He posted, ‘Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss Releasing in cinemas EID 2025 @rashmika_mandanna @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025’.

On the other hand, there was the stunning Rashmika Mandanna who had posted, ‘‘You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is..Surprise!! I am truly grateful and honoured to be a part of #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala @BeingSalmanKhan @ARMurugadoss @NGEmovies @WardaNadiadwala Releasing in cinemas on EID 2025! #RM25’.

While the film Sikandar marks the reunion of the super successful producer-actor jodi of Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan, it also marks the first time pairing of Salman Khan with Rashmika Mandanna. The film’s music has been composed by Pritam.
