Late singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur is expecting her second child. The sources close to Moosewala’s family confirmed the news to the Tribune. Reportedly, 58-year-old Charan Kaur started an IVF treatment and was successful in conceiving a baby which is due in March.
Sidhu was the only son of his parents and was brutally murdered on May 29, 2022, in his village Mansa, Punjab. According to a news report in Hindustan Times, Kaur had revealed her age to be 56 while filing an affidavit as a covering candidate for Sidhu who was fighting elections from Mansa. She is currently under medical observation ahead of giving birth to her second child.
Talking about Moosewala’s death, the singer was shot dead by six assailants. The ‘So High’ singer along with his friend and cousin were out in a jeep to Jawaharke village in Mansa. The Punjab police special investigation team (SIT) is currently investigating his death.

Reportedly, gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria had taken responsibility for his murder. The SIT has filed a chargesheet against 32 prime accused. On Moosewala’s birth anniversary (June 11) last year, his mother shared a heartwarming post remembering her son.
Charan Kaur had shared, “Happy birthday son, on this day, my wishes and prayers came true when I held you for the first time, felt in the warmth of the bosom. And I came to know that Akal Purakh gave me a son. Blessings, I hope you know there was a slight redness on the small feet, who did not know that these small steps had traveled the whole world while sitting in the village, and thick eyes with which you would see and recognize the truth. They did not know that you were giving the generation of Punjab a different view of the world.” His family members and fans are still seeking justice for his death.
