Sidharth Malhotra reveals Katrina Kaif's secret to looking lean in songs, makes Vicky Kaushal go 'What!?'

Wondered how Katrina Kaif managed to look so amazing in the dance number Kala Chashma from her movie Baar Baar Dekho? Her co-star Sidharth Mahotra has the answer. The Shershaah actor recently graced Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan season 7 and revealed that the actress consumed ice cubes to look lean. The revelation surprised Katrina’s husband Vicky Kaushal , who accompanied Sidharth on the Koffee couch.

Sidharth spoke about fitness freak Katrina during a segment in which Karan was showing social media comments over his and Vicky’s photos. He said that the Ek Tha Tiger actress is very strict about her fitness and diet routine, to the level that she ate ice cubes to maintain her lean figure during the Kala Chashma song shoot.

“Woh barf kha rahi thi yaar, (she was eating ice cubes) on Kala Chashma shoot. She was only eating ice, to keep dehydrated and lean, but she looked good,” said Sidharth. Reacting to this, Vicky was “WHAT?”, while Karan said that it doesn’t matter what she did as she looked amazing. For the unversed, Kala Chashma was released in 2016, and fans from around the world could not stop gushing about Katrina’s chiselled avatar. Although Sidharth shared the screen with her, it was her perfect abs who stole the thunder.

Meanwhile, Sidharth also subtly confirmed her relationship with his Shershaah co-star, Kiara Advani, during the show. Even Vicky spilled some beans about his wedding day and expressed how settled he feels after meeting his soulmate Katrina. In terms of work, both the actors have interesting projects in their kitty. While Sidharth will next be seen in Yodha opposite Disha Patani, Vicky has Govinda Naam Mera alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani.
