'Should I raid Ranbir's wardrobe?' pregnant Alia Bhatt on launching her own line of maternity wear

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. Ever since they announced the good news, fans were wondering how Alia will look with the baby bump. And she left everyone stunned with her on-point maternity look. From a yellow balloon dress to an oversized ethnic outfit, the actress set a new trend in maternity fashion. And now, she has taken inspiration from her pregnancy journey to venture into designing her own line of maternity clothing.

Earlier, Alia launched her kid's clothing brand named Ed-a-Mamma and now after two years she is coming up with maternity wear. Taking to her Instagram handle, the Darlings actress shared an announcement message that read, “Two years ago I started a children’s clothing brand, Everyone asked why I’m doing a kids brand when I don’t have kids. Now I’m launching my own line of maternity-wear. I don’t think anyone will ask why:) But let me tell you anyway.”

Further, she spoke about her struggle to dress her style of clothing during her pregnancy. “It’s not like I’ve bought maternity clothes before. But when I got down to it, I was overwhelmed. You don’t know how you’re going to look or feel over the next few months and let’s be honest, not being able to find the right thing to wear can be stressful. Do I buy brands I already wear but in a bigger size? Should I raid Ranbir’s wardrobe? And just because my body is changing doesn’t mean my sense of style has to, right?” Soon after her post, celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff dropped a series of heart emojis.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Alia was last seen with her husband in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Up next, she will feature in the Hollywood movie, Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa co-starring Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
