'Should have painted the house...': Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's wedding preparations begin as his residence is all decked up, netizens react

After a long wait, finally lovebirds Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are all set to take the plunge as the wedding preparations began in full swing. Decorations are put up at the Indian cricketer’s Mumbai residence with white lights hanging all around the building. A video has surfaced online that showed a few staff overlooking the arrangements and decorations. While fans are excited about the big day, some of the netizens reacted to decorations at KL Rahul’s building.

Reacting to the video, one of the fans wrote, “Dulhe ka shehra suhana lagta hai.. dulhan ka to dil deewana lagta hai” Another fan wrote, “Lucky u guys to get each other forever.. such a nice feeling this is.” On the other hand, one of the netizens reacted, “Ghr itna dusty kyu hai”(Why house is so dusty) Another user said, “Should have painted the house before putting the decorations up.”“Sajane se pehle putaaii karwalete to jyada sahi thi,”(before decorations could have at least painted it) Check the video here:

Recently, Athiya and KL Rahul returned from Dubai after celebrating New Year’s Eve together. As per Hindustan Times, the couple is going to get married on January 23 at Athiya’s father and actor Suniel Shetty ’s farmhouse in Khandala. It will be a three-day close-knit affair that will kickstart with a ladies’ night, and guests will join the following Sangeet ceremony and wedding the next day. “It is an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding. It’s most likely that you may not see many industry peeps,” said an inside to the news portal.

Meanwhile, Athiya and KL Rahul are rumoured to be dating for quite some years until they made it Insta-official on the former’s birthday. After which their wedding rumours started doing rounds on the internet. Workwise, Athiya was last seen in the 2019 comedy-drama, Motichoor Chaknachoor, alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
