Updated : October 14, 2022 09:27 AM ISTRaj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty celebrated Karwa Chauth with their industry friends at Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s house last night.
Like every year, actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra kept a fast for her husband’s long life on Karwa Chauth yesterday. She joined Sonam Kapoor and her mother Sunita Kapoor at latter’s house along with several other Bollywood wives like Raveena Tandon, Maheep Kapoor and Varun Dhawan’s wife Natasha Dalal for puja. Shilpa looked drop-dead gorgeous in a classic red saree with a gold border by designer Gopi Vaid. The actress shared a sneak peek into the celebrations at Anil Kapoor’s house featuring her ‘Karwa Chauth Gang’ on social media.
Later in the evening, Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra reached the venue to celebrate Karwa Chauth with her. In the last few months, we have seen him wearing various different masks which cover his entire face during outings, in order to avoid the paparazzi. Well, for the special occasion, Raj ditched his gaudy but creative masks for a chhanni used for Karwa Chauth puja. But this was no ordinary sieve found in a kitchen! This chhanni had Shilpa’s initials written on it with a heart around it. How sweet is that?
Much to our delight, Shilpa took to her official social media handle to share a candid snap of her and Raj from last night. Clicked by Anil, the precious photograph features the actress looking at her husband through the sieve. In the caption below, Shilpa revealed the special gift she got from Raj on Karwa Chauth-- he also kept a fast for her health and long life. The actress shared, “MINE .. In this lifetime.. Karva Chauth .. When he fasts for you too ♥️🧿♥️Gratitude 😇 Picture courtesy : @anilskapoor ♥️ #tradition #love #wellbeing #happiness #karvachauth.”
