Sharvari Wagh was to make her debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film? Here’s what we know

Bollywood actress Sharvari Wagh is the latest national crush of India. The actress was seen in the blockbuster film Munjya and later appeared in Vedaa opposite John Abraham. The actress, who made her acting debut with Kabir Khan’s The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye, has revealed in interviews that she was rejected for multiple movie auditions before grabbing her first acting role. Now, the actress has revealed that she was supposed to make her acting debut with a film made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house.

During a conversation with News18 recently, Sharvari revealed that she was supposed to do a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production house for which she had auditioned and had gotten shortlisted but eventually, the project did not go as planned.

Sharvari said that after a series of workshops, the team had to stop due to some technical issues and had to rework the script.

“We did a couple of workshops and then there was a bit of pause on that film because of some technical reasons. They had to figure something out and rework the script. In that interim, I asked them if I could assist with them. At that time, Bajirao Mastani was also on floors and I requested if I could be an intern on that one. They obliged and were very happy to give me that job,”  she explained.

Speaking about her hopes of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as the heroine in the film, Sharvari said that she has not gotten the opportunity to chat with him. She said, “I’ve never told him that I want to be his heroine. I’ve expressed it everywhere but not to him (laughs). One day, I hope my dream comes true.”

Sharvari has previously revealed that she assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the shooting of his blockbuster film Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
