Shanaya Kapoor says she is working very hard to prove she 'deserves' Bedhadak, is she trying to shed the tag of nepo-kid?

Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to live her dream of entering the world of acting with her debut movie Bedhadak . She is going to be another launch of Karan Johar ’s Dharma Productions after Ananya Panday, who made her debut with Student Of The Year 2. However, it seems the star kid is well-aware of her nepotistic privileges and trying hard to prove herself with hard work. In the latest interview, she stated that she wants to make people feel that she earned this opportunity and did not take it for granted.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Bedhadak also stars Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada in pivotal roles. Talking about her launch, Shanaya said, “I am very excited; it’s not a typical ‘launch’ as perhaps people would expect. It’s a solid story about 3 youngsters, and the character is quite challenging - I’m preparing for it. I’m grateful for the opportunity and I’m working very hard to prove that I deserve it," she told Zoom TV.

Further, Shanaya said that she is making a concrete effort to ace his performance in the upcoming film. “I want my performance in this film to make people feel that I earned this opportunity- that I didn’t waste it or that I didn’t take it for granted. I’ve worked very hard and I will continue to - it’s not even something I want to keep repeating because that is the job - you’re meant to work hard, and I have. I hope people recognize that when they see my work, " she added.

Meanwhile, Shanaya enjoys a massive fan following on social media prior to her debut. Also, she made her first screen presence in the Netflix reality show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 1. She was also seen in the recently released second season of the show.
