Shamita Shetty- Raqesh Bapat officially announce break-up, does it come as a surprise?

Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat ’s break-up announcement doesn’t come as surprise. Since many such short-term relationships have developed in the reality show Bigg Boss and failed to survive after the show. Tanisha Mukerji and Armaan Kohli, Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, Gauhar Khan, and Kushal Tandon among others have already set such examples of sad endings on the show. Moreover, celebrity flings have also time and again proved to be USP for any reality shows. Well, it is not known whether Shamita and Raqesh’s relationship was a marketing gimmick or real.

The romance brewed between Shamita and Raqesh on Bigg Boss OTT house. Soon the couple became the talk of the town and garnered a loyal fanbase who lovingly called them ‘ShaRa’. After the show ended, their relationship continued, and Raqesh was often spotted with Shamita’s family for outings. However, in March, reports started doing rounds that the two have parted ways, but neither of them confirmed it. On Tuesday, the duo took to their respective social media handle and made it official after dating for almost a year.

Taking to her Instagram story, Shamita wrote, "I think it's imp to make this clear. Raqesh n I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who've given us so much love n support. Do continue to shower us with ur love as individuals too. Here's to positivity and newer horizons. Love and gratitude to you." On the other hand, Raqesh wrote, "I would like to share with you all that Shamita and I are no longer together. Destiny made our paths meet in the most unusual circumstances. Thank you so much to the beautiful Shara family for all the love and support Being a private person, I did not want to publicly announce parting ways, however, I feel we owe it to our fans to put this out. I am mindful that this will break your hearts but hope you can continue to shower your love on us as individuals too.
