Seema Khan had revealed her relationship status to be single? Had called herself 'single and fancy free'

Actor Sohail Khan and his wife Seema Khan were spotted heading for a divorce and were seen arriving today at a family court in Mumbai to file for the same on Friday (May 13). The estranged couple has been living separately for a while now and looks like they have finally decided to end their marriage after efforts of any reconciliation did not work out. Now, a throwback quote of Seema from an interview has been resurfacing where she had called herself ‘single.’

According to a news report in Etimes, in an earlier interview, while promoting her Netflix show Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Seema Khan had called herself single. The interview had the star cast of the show being asked who amongst them visits the salon often to which both Bhavana Pandey and Neelam Kothari Soni named Seema even though the latter denied it. Neelam had further said to Seema, “Seema, whenever we have caught up with you on zoom, you are always on mute because you are in a salon either doing your hair or nails.”

To this, Seema Khan had said, “I like to be particular. Yeah, but what to do? I have time as I am single, fancy-free, and footloose." Sohail Khan and Seema Khan’s troubled married life famously caught the attention of the Bollywood fans when the two were shown to be living separately on the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Seema was shown to be living in an apartment right across from Sohail’s home and their son Nirvan was also seen going back in forth between their homes during a visit from the U.S.

Apart from this, Seema Khan had also spoken about her ‘unconventional marriage’ with Sohail Khan on the show as well and while calling him an ‘amazing father’ she had said, “It's just that sometimes when you grow older, your relationships meanders and goes into different directions. I make no apologies about it because we are happy and my kids are happy. Sohail and I are not a conventional marriage but we are a family. We are a unit. For us, him and me and our children matter at the end of the day."
