Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War’s release date REVEALED; fans just cannot keep calm!

The very name of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has always been synonymous with terms like opulence, grandeur and larger than life. Be it the Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor starrer Saawariya or the more recent Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi or even the extremely acclaimed series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar… every work of his is a ‘gem’ in itself (no pun intended!). All the eyes are now trained on his next project Love And War.

Speaking about Love And War, it stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in the leading roles. Today, the film’s makers took to social media and announced the release date of the film. And the release date of the film has now been confirmed as 20 March 2026! As per the media note, it states that the film’s release date also falls ‘during the biggest holiday stretch, coinciding with major festivals including Ramzan, Ram Navmi, and Gudi Padwa!

An earlier report in Pinkvilla had stated that the film Love And War’s first schedule will reportedly start in the first week of October. The said schedule will have the actor Ranbir Kapoor in it. ON the other hand, actor Vicky Kaushal is expected to join the actor later on October 10.

In no time of the announcement of the release date being made, there were many who took to social media and expressed their utmost happiness. While one wrote, ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is renowned for his opulent and visually stunning films, is again set to captivate the audiences once again with his upcoming magnum opus Love and War’, another user wrote, ‘Whsat a combination! Only Sanjay Leela Bhansali could have pulled it off. Now, all eyes are on the release date!

There was also a source-based article in the same digital publication, which had stated that, ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be beginning his journey on the film Love And War by shooting for some sole sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor. And, post that, he would be reportedly moving on to the friendship portions of Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The same article had also stated that, the master filmmaker that he is, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also big plans for the film and has even designed the schedule maintaining his signature style of filmmaking intact!
