Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, and Arshad Warsi starrer Welcome To The Jungle is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Helmed by Ahmed Khan, the film boasts of an ensemble cast and is the third installment in the popular Welcome franchise. After Anil Kapoor walked out of the film due to monetary issues, reports claim that Sanjay Dutt is also not going to be a part of the movie due to date issues. Although no official statement has been made by the actor or the makers of Welcome To The Jungle.

Has Sanjay Dutt walked out of Welcome To The Jungle?

According to Bollywood Hungama, Sanjay has walked out of Welcome To The Jungle due to date issues. He has also reportedly conveyed this to Akshay Kumar, who holds no grudge against him. The source said, “He has conveyed all the issues to his dear friend Akshay, who took the points into account and holds no grudge. Sanjay Dutt felt that the Welcome To The Jungle shoot was happening in an unplanned way, with too many changes in the script, disturbing his diary of shoots, and hence has parted ways.”

While some reports suggest that Sanjay continued his shooting for 15 days, a report by Pinkvilla states that the actor walked out of the film after a day of shooting due to medical reasons as his character required him to do a lot of action sequences.

When Akshay Kumar welcomed Sanjay Dutt onboard

While introducing Sanjay as one of the characters in Welcome To The Jungle, Akshay shared a video of himself on Instagram riding a horse while Sanjay follows him. He captioned the post, “What a lovely coincidence that we celebrate 16 years of Welcome today, while I am shooting for the franchise’s third part Welcome To The Jungle. And it’s wonderful to welcome Sanju Baba to this one. What do you think?"

Earlier, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar walked out of the film due to monetary issues, though no official claims were made by the actors or the producers of the film.
