Sanam Teri Kasam’s sequel announced with Harshvardhan Rane; fans ask 'Is Mawra Hocane the leading lady?'

It was in the year 2016 a film was released. Titled Sanam Teri Kasam, the film went on to become one of the most watched films of that year. The film starred a mint fresh pairing of Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, the two actors who went on to prove that real talent will surely find its way to the right place- in this case, the silver screen! The film, which was a hit at the box office, also boasted of chartbuster music as well. How can anyone forget the track ‘Tu kench meri photo piyaaa..’!

Well… even after the film was extremely well received by the audiences, the film’s makers were not announcing the sequel, something which many of the cinegoers really wanted. Well… as they say, ‘best things come to those who wait’… true to the saying, the film makers have now announced the much-awaited sequel to the film Sanam Teri Kasam, which had been titled Sanam Teri Kasam 2.

The film’s makers took to social media and announced the film’s sequel. They captioned the post as, ‘Sanam Teri Kasam 2 is officially happening! Within minutes of the film’s makers announcing the sequel, there were an array of comments from the netizens. While one user wrote, ‘Sanam tere kasam without mawra is impossible’, there was another who wrote, ‘A film that deserves a sequel but pleaseeeee don’t make a different storyline just for sake of the name! We wanna follow the same character journey!’.

Another user wrote, ‘The first part gained more hype for its blockbuster music. So its a request to make original songs for this one also.
