Salman Khan’s film with Atlee to be an epic reincarnation saga? Here's what we know
Let’s face it. There were many cinegoers who were eagerly waiting to see their one and only Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan in action in the recently released Singham Again. Even though there were many who loved even the time frame for which Salman Khan was seen on the silver screen in the film, at the same time, there were many who were a bit disappointed as they were expecting more. It seems that all the prayers will soon be answered, courtesy the master filmmaker Atlee.
Speaking about Atlee, he is now all set to make a film that stars Salman Khan and another stalwart superstar from the south film industry, as per a source-based news report in Pinkvilla. The said report stated Atlee is trying his best to rope in the likes of either Kamal Haasan or Rajinikanth as a strong parallel lead for the said film.
As for the Salman Khan starrer film, it's being reported that, it will be a mega-budget reincarnation drama which will be set in two distinct eras – the past and present, for which, the director was preparing since the last one year! And as for Salman Khan, the said report stated that he will be presented like never-before in the film.
The same report stated that, while Salman Khan will be seen in the avatar of a warrior in the period era, on the other hand, the details of his role and look in the present era have been kept under wraps. The said film, which will be produced by Sun Pictures, would be reportedly going on floors by summer 2025.
Speaking about the theme of reincarnation, the Salman Khan starrer Karan Arjun, which also was based on the same theme, is now being re-released. Besides Salman Khan, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni and also the legendary Amrish Puri, who is, sadly, no more amongst us.
Well… there’s more! Salman Khan, besides the aforementioned Atlee directed film, will also be seen in a cameo role in the most awaited Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John, which also stars Keerthy Suresh (this will mark her debut in Bollywood), Wamiqa Gabbi and the veteran actor Jackie Shroff.
