According to a news report in Hindustan Times, Salman Khan has also updated his regular car into a bulletproof land cruiser. The report furthermore added that a senior IPS officer has confirmed that the license was printed and then sent to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Of Police, according to the procedure for the verification process. This was done to check for the criminal record of the applicant.

The news report went on to say that the Mumbai Police headquarters cleared Salman Khan’s gun license application file after having done the verification and the necessary background check. The license was then collected by the Hum Saath Saath Hain actor’s representative from the firearm license branch in the police headquarters. For the unversed, the death threats came to Salman and his father Salim Khan just days after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead near his Mansa village in Punjab.
The letter which had the threats towards Salman Khan and Salim Khan bore the signature initials comprising LB and GB. These names indicate gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who had earlier also threatened the megastar in the year 2018 along with his associate Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. These two were also revealed to be the mastermind behind the murder of Sidhu Mossewala.
It was then that Salman Khan visited the Mumbai Police headquarters to meet Vivek Phansalkar, the Mumbai Police Commissioner to arrange for the grant of his gun license. Well, this might come across as relaxing news for the fans of the actor. On the work front, Salman has movies like Tiger 3, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, No Entry Main Entry, and Pavan Putra Bhaijaan on the pipeline.
