Rosario Dawson may have confirmed that a Punisher series starring Jon Bernthal is in the works at Marvel

The fact that Daredevil and Kingpin have made their MCU debut is a solid indicator that the rest of Netflix's Marvel superheroes will make their MCU debut soon.

There are already rumors that Jessica Jones will have a cameo in the upcoming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which will also have a cameo by Matt Murdock aka Daredevil.

Ina recent interview Rosario Dawson let slip that there was a Punisher revival series happening at Marvel.

The Punisher played by Jon Bernthal made his first appearance in the second season of Daredevil.

Dawson was asked about when asked about a potential Night Nurse return during a panel at Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo yesterday, to which he answered 

"So, I feel like it's my second chance, because that's the only one of the shows I wasn't in and I love Jon Bernthal, So, lets all make it happen collectively guys."

Clare Temple aka The Night Nurse would go on to have guest appearances in shows like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and The Defenders.

Hopefully, this information turns out to be true, Jon Bernthal had previously said that he would only play the role again if the project was true to the gritty, violent nature of the character.

 so if a new Punisher series or movie is in development, there's a pretty good chance it'll be R-rated.

We will know more about Marvel's upcoming line of shows and movies at the D23 event next month, till then we have to keep our fingers crossed.
