Revealed! Kareena Kapoor to star alongside THESE two actresses in Rhea Kapoor's female-centric film

Kareena Kapoor Khan made her comeback with Rhea Kapoor ’s Veere Di Wedding (2018) after delivering her first child Taimur Ali Khan. Now after four years, the actress is reuniting with the producer for a fresh story of strong women coming together. She has earlier revealed that it will be a female-centric movie, as she has roped in two other stellar actors. However, she did not reveal the names but shared that the announcement about the film will be made soon.

Finally, the two actresses who have joined the cast of the film are revealed and much to our delight they are Kriti Sanon and Tabu . For the first time, Kareena, Kriti, and Tabu will be collaborating together for the project. While the plotline is under wraps, it is already clear that it will not be the sequel to Veere Di Wedding which starred Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania, and Swara Bhasker. “I am doing a film with Rhea Kapoor. It is not Veere 2, it is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It's a super cool and fun story,” Kareena had told PTI.

Helmed by Lootcase director Rajesh Krishnan, the film is reported to be a slice-of-life drama with a twist of quirks. For the first time, Rhea Kapoor has collaborated with TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor to jointly produce the upcoming film. The film is expected to go on floors in January.

Meanwhile, Kareena was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha co-starring Aamir Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is the Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. Up next she will be seen in a web film, Devotion of Suspect X directed by Sujoy Ghosh. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon will feature alongside Varun Dhawan in the upcoming horror comedy, Bhediya. And Tabu will be seen in Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2.
