Republic Day 2024: Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Kareena Kapoor Khan extend wishes to fans on the occasion

Today (January 26) marks the occasion of Republic Day wherein the adoption of the Constitution Of India is celebrated which came into effect in 1950. The day is integral in defining the country’s identity. On this occasion, some Bollywood celebrities took to their social media handle to share wishes on the occasion.

Akshay Kumar took to his X handle to share a video wherein he along with his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Tiger Shroff can be seen running along with the National Flag in their hand. We can see the song ‘Vande Mataram’ playing in the background. He wrote, “New India, new confidence, new vision.. our time has come. Happy Republic Day. Jai Hind…Jai Bharat.”

Amitabh Bachchan shared a beautiful video wherein he can be seen performing the National Anthem with just his hand gestures and expressions while the children standing around him can be singing the same. Kangana Ranaut, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Shahid Kapoor also took to their Instagram stories to share their wishes. They shared a picture of the National Flag along with their wishes. The Youtuber shared his wish in Hindi which translated to, “Be proud to be an Indian, Celebrate the festival of democracy together, Defeat the enemies of the country together, Hoist the tricolor in every house.
