Actress Raveena Tandon who was accused of assaulting three women on the streets of Mumbai last week has penned a note for the public to respect ‘women achievers’ and to come together to fight ‘violence and hooliganism.’ This note also comes amidst Kangana Ranaut’s controversial incident where the actress was slapped by a CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport.

Raveena Tandon comes in support of Kangana
Taking to her Instagram stories, Raveena wrote, “In a world where public scrutiny is relentless, it is essential to remember that women achievers are human too. Disparaging them solely for their fame is unfair and harmful. This increasing violence against women and children world over needs to be addressed urgently. It’s time we stand up against violence and hooliganism.”
Raveena penned this note amid Kangana Ranaut’s controversial incident where she was slapped by a CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport. The women revealed her association with the farmer’s protest and is assumed to have responded to Kangana’s controversial remarks regarding the women participating in the farmer’s protest.
When Kangana penned a note for Raveena
Earlier, Kangana had come in Raveena’s defense when she was accused of assaulting three women. While Raveena did not release any official statement after the incident, Kangana took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming; had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group, she would have been lynched; we condemn such road rage outbursts; those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour."

For those unknown, last week actress Raveena Tandon was accused of abusing and assaulting three people in Mumbai. According to a video which was posted on X, Raveena’s driver was accused of rash driving and hitting three people at Carter Road near Rizvi College in Bandra. When the driver was confronted for his action, the actress got out of the car in a drunken state, and allegedly abused and assaulted the victims.
Speaking about the incident, Rajtilak Roshan (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 9) told Mid Day that the complainant gave a false complaint after checking the CCTV footage they found that the actress' driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when the family was crossing the lane. The actress was later given clean chit in the case.
