Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to blow the minds of the audience away with his first out and out action venture, Rashtra Kavach OM . The film is headed for cinemas in July and will be the actor’s first film to release on the big screen post the pandemic.
With the actor trying to breach the action space after many intense projects, he was asked in a recent interview about comparisons with action stars like John Abraham , Tiger Shroff and Vidyut Jamwal . Humble as ever, Aditya has shared that he doesn’t feel doing one film alone would bring him at par with any of these popular stars who currently dominate the genre.
Talking on the subject of comparisons he told ETimes, “I take it in a positive way because these guys have done such amazing work in this genre. This is my first step into it. It will take me a few more action films before I can be compared to these guys. If the comparisons are still made, I would be flattered by them. Who doesn’t want to be compared to something or someone good!”
Aditya has performed all the stunts in Rashtra Kavach OM himself and has also worked hard to build a jacked physique to be able to pull off the high-octane action sequence. In the same interview Aditya said that soon after he was done will the physically demanding project, he headed home to his parents’ house and gorged on mutton curry made by his father ditching his strict diet routine.
Playing a para commando officer in the film, Aditya’s character is on a mission to save the country as well as working towards finding his missing father who has been deemed a traitor.
The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Sanjana Sanghi and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. It releases in theatres on 1 July.
