Rashmika Mandanna wants to work with THIS director | Makes revelation at Gam Gam Ganesha event

Rashmika Mandanna has been riding high, thanks to the success of her recent projects. The ‘National Crush’ was recently invited as the chief guest of the pre-release event for her rumoured beau Vijay Deverakonda's brother, actor Anand Deverakonda’s upcoming film, Gam Gam Ganesha.

Rashmika Mandanna wants to work with Sai Rajesh

While speaking at the event, Rashmika expressed her desire to work with Baby director Sai Rajesh. While praising his work, she revealed that she sobbed while watching his debut film, Baby. She said, “You're the one director I would like to work with. I loved your film, Baby. I loved your dedication and hard work. I was in tears when I watched the film. I will play any character as long as it is your movie.”

Writer-turned-director Sai Rajesh made his directorial debut with Anand Deverakonda-starrer Baby which also starred Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles. The romantic drama was released in 2023 and was a box office blockbuster, receiving critical acclaim for the story and performances.

Gam Gam Ganesha, starring Anand Deverakonda and directed by debutant Uday Bommisetty, is billed as an action comedy. Actresses Pragati Srivastava and Nayan Sarika play the female leads. The trailer for the film shows Anand and his friend planning how to become millionaires. Later, Anand is seen flirting with Nayan Sarika’s character, showing her that he tattooed her name on his neck. However, the chaos begins when a fight breaks out between the protagonist and the antagonist, who appears to be planning to steal a Ganesha idol.

Gam Gam Ganesh is scheduled to have worldwide release on May 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, Rashmika is currently busy shooting for her Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kubera that also stars Dhanush. The movie is directed by acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula.
