Updated : December 03, 2022 08:03 PM ISTRashmika Mandanna in a light hearted conversation recently said she tired of being asked 'how' she did Sami Sami in Pushpa.
Rashmika Mandanna , after conquering the South with her performances, made a promising Hindi debut with the Bollywood film Goodbye. However, months before the release of Goodbye in cinemas, Rashmika had become a household name with the pan-Indian success of Pushpa: The Rise .
Her song Sami Sami from Pushpa, in particular, is something the fever of which refuses to die down. Rashmika often faces requests to perform the hook step of the song wherever she goes after the release of the movie in December 2021.
However, in a recent laid-back conversation with Netflix for the promotions of Goodbye which has released digitally on the platform, Rashmika confessed that she is tired of being asked the question, how she did Sami Sami in Pushpa.
The actress said during the interview that wherever she goes, the requests to dance to Sami Sami follow her along with the question how the song happened. When asked about the one question that makes her go ‘not again’, Rashmika said, “Like how I did Sami Sami. Everywhere I go they make me do Sami Sai and they always ask, ‘how you did this’.”
She hilariously added, “It’s like put your bum out, put you leg straight and do it.”
Having put it out there, Rashmika recently went to Russia to promote Pushpa: The Rise as the movie released in the country, along with her co-star Allu Arjun who plays the titular character.
Fans of the movie are now looking forward to the second part of the film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, they might have to wait till 2024 to see the movie in cinemas. The project will see Rashmika, Allu Arjun and Fahad Fassil return with a few new faces also joining the cast.
Pusha: The Rise emerged as a pan-Indian blockbuster last year with collections of over Rs. 300 crores in India alone.
