Ranbir Kapoor proclaims he's the most stylish actor in Bollywood: 'Sitting at home, I felt ...'

Until winning HT’s India’s Most Stylish Superstar Award, Ranbir Kapoor felt that he was the most stylish actor in Bollywood despite not being acknowledged for the same. Well, he topped the list in Filmfare's poll of the ‘Most Stylish Young Actor’, but he never received awards for his fashion statement. At the award ceremony, he confessed that he always used to think that he is above all in Bollywood when it comes to fashion.

“I have always believed that I am super stylish and fashionable. Kabhi awards toh mile nahi par ghar baith kar mujhe lagta tha ki main sabse fashionable or stylish hu (Sitting at home, I felt that I was the most fashionable) No, it's in good spirit. It’s always good to get these awards and meet your colleagues. They celebrate you and it’s always a good feeling,” said the actor after he was acknowledged for his fashion at the recently held HT’s India’s Most Stylish Awards 2022.

The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani actor revealed that while growing up he considered superstar Shah Rukh Khan , legendary Amitabh Bachchan , and his late father Rishi Kapoor his style icon. Elaborating on his own style, he said, “I think style is being comfortable. For me, I am always in jeans, sneakers, T-shirt, and a cap. I am most comfortable and most happy to wear them all my life”

In terms of work, Ranbir is making his comeback with Shamshera after four years of gap. Directed by Karan Malhotra , the period action drama will feature him in a dual role with Sanjay Dutt as an antagonist and Vaani Kapoor as travelling performer. Produced by Aditya Chopra ’s Yash Raj Films , it is slated to hit theatres on July 22. Besides it, he also has Ayan Mukerji ’s fantasy drama, Brahmastra co-starring Alia Bhatt , Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy . it is scheduled to hit screens on September 9.
