Ranbir Kapoor has been quite vocal about his concerns for his daughter Raha Kapoor ever since he embraced fatherhood. In the latest interaction, the actor opened up about protecting Raha’s privacy. At the same time, he admitted that he doesn’t want her to grow up to feel any less than her cousins Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan in the department of media attention.
The Shamshera actor will soon be appearing as a guest on his cousin Kareena Kapoor Khan’s show What Women Want. In the recently released promo, Ranbir could be heard saying, “Raha should not grow up and after 4-5 years say, ‘Dekho Taimur aur Jeh ke itni photos le rahe hai, meri to koi photos hi nahi le raha(How frequently are Taimur and Jeh clicked by them, no one clicks my pictures).” As per Etimes report, he mentioned that he and Alia just want Raha to have a normal upbringing, but they do not have strict rules either.
Alia and Ranbir welcomed their little munchkin Raha in November last year. Announcing her arrival, the couple had shared a picture of a lion, a lioness, and a cub. Alongside they wrote, “And in the best news of our lives, Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed parents, love love love, Alia and Ranbir.”Ever since she has born, the couple has kept her identity hidden. Earlier, they organised a meet-up with the paparazzi and showed them their daughter’s photo, and requested them not to click her pictures.
Workwise, Ranbir is basking in the success of his recently released romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. He will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s gangster drama Animal co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. On the other hand, Alia recently wrapped up Karan Johar’s family drama Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in which she stars alongside Ranveer Singh.
